NHTSA's 5-Star Safety Ratings measure how well a vehicle protects occupants in a crash. Vehicles are rated from 1 to 5 stars across frontal crash, side crash, and rollover categories, with an overall combined rating. More stars means safer.
Safety ratings are available for vehicles tested by NHTSA. Coverage spans most US-market passenger vehicles from recent model years. Not all vehicles or configurations have been tested.
