Frequently Asked Questions

How do I compare cars?

Select a year, make, model, and trim for each vehicle slot — you can add up to 3 vehicles. Once at least 2 slots are filled, click Compare. Results appear instantly; no account required.

How many vehicles can I compare at once?

You can compare up to 3 vehicles side by side simultaneously, covering every spec row from engine to cargo volume.

What specifications does the comparison cover?

Engine specs (horsepower, torque, displacement, cylinders, aspiration), performance (0–100 km/h acceleration and top speed), fuel economy (city, highway, and combined — in MPG or L/100km), drivetrain (drive type, transmission, gears), dimensions (length, width, height, wheelbase), and weight & capacity (curb weight, fuel tank size, cargo volume, towing capacity).

Is the car comparison tool free?

Yes — completely free. Guest users get a daily allowance of comparisons with no sign-up. Free accounts unlock more daily comparisons and segment analysis. Paid plans include unlimited comparisons.

Can I compare electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrids?

Yes. EV and hybrid models automatically show an Electric System section covering total system power, battery capacity (kWh), electric range, and MPGe — alongside all standard spec rows.

What is segment analysis?

Segment analysis benchmarks each vehicle's horsepower, fuel economy, acceleration, top speed, and curb weight against the average for its body-type segment (sedan, SUV, pickup, etc.), so you can see whether a spec is genuinely strong or just average for its class. Available to signed-in users.

Can I switch between imperial and metric units?

Yes. Use the Imperial / Metric toggle above the Compare button. Imperial shows MPG, mph, inches, and pounds; metric shows L/100km, km/h, millimetres, and kilograms.
